The Western Maine Lakes and Foothills, is the name of Cluster 30 in the Diocese of Portland, Maine.  Cluster 30 is two Parishes, Saint Joseph and Saint Teresa of Calcutta, consisting of five Churches:  St. Joseph, Bridgton, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, Fryeburg which make up St. Joseph Parish, and St. Catherine of Sienna, Norway, Our Lady of Ransom, Mechanic Falls and St. Mary, Oxford which make up St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish.  
Our Cluster is served by Our Pastor, Father Edward Clifford, our Parochial Vicar, Father Arockia Prabu, a  Cluster Secretary, Ms. Gloria Vazniz, a Cluster Faith Formation Coordinator, Ms. Joanne Fortier and our Maintenance Staff.

Welcome to Saint Joseph Parish
Saint Joseph Parish , established in 1971 is comprised of two Catholic communities: St. Joseph Church, Bridgton, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Fryeburg.  St. Joseph Parish is allied with St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish; comprised of St. Catherine of Sienna, Norway, Our Lady of Ransom, Mechanic Falls and St. Mary, Oxford.  The two Parishes, are in Cluster 30 Western Maine, Lakes and Foothills 30 of the Diocese of Portland, Maine.
Saint Joseph was of royal descent and his genealogy has been by both St. Mathew and St. Luke in their Gospel accounts.  Little else is known about St. Joseph except that he was a carpenter by trade.  He was named as Patron Saint of the Universal Church by Pius IX in 1870.   St. Joseph is also the Patron Saint of Carpenters the Dying, Engineers, Families, Fathers, Interior Souls, Social Justice and Workers.
Saint Joseph Parish was established as a canonical parish from a mission church by the Diocese of Portland in 1971. The Roman Catholic community under the patronage of Saint Joseph has strived to embody the Spirit of Christ to the town of Bridgton and the surrounding communities.  Much is owed to the many families who have made the Western Maine Lakes and Foothills their home;  welcoming seasonal visitors, summer residents, and retirees.
